system as router

hi,
how can i make my desktop as router and connect the laptop to it using wi-fi.

Hi,

If what you want is something like the following...

www -> router Desktop -> wifi router -> Laptop

Then you will need to use iptables with DNAT and masquerading if I recall corectly.

More info would be helpful.

What about Labtop -> WiFi -> wlan0 : Desktop : eth0 -> InetRouter ?

You have to describe in more detail your config ... that's the nino priciple: No Input -> No Output
