Syslog help

Hi all,

Currently looking into setting up a syslog server (Ubuntu 6.0.6). Are there any out there that come equipped with a WebUI? What do you folks use to syslog? I keep seing a lot about syslog-ng. Is that good? Again, does it have a web interface? Thanks for any info!

syslog-ng doesn't have a web interface in itself.... stick to doing ONE thing well. try php-syslog-ng for a seperately developed UI if you really need one. syslog-ng is great. you might like to look at splunk as well though for a much more web2.0 version of things.
