Switching etho and eth1
My laptop has two integrated network interfaces: one ethernet and one wireless. The ethernet adapter is assigned eth0 and the wireless is assigned eth1. How do I make my wireless my default adapter?

Just a guess, but in the RH9 network devices applet, delete both adapters. Then add the wireless adapter first, then the wired. Seems like you can tell it which eth to be in there.

I should have clarified this before I posted, I need to do this on my Mandrake machine.

before the network interfaces are activated, use the "nameif" command. The man page on it was a bit lacking, but looks like what you're after.
edit: A better manpage: http://www.die.net/doc/linux/man/man8/nameif.8.html |
