Switch DHCP to static

I have a linux server that i have hook up to my router using DHCP. I want to change that to a static ip like 192.168.0.15 rather than using DHCP. I am running slackware 9.1

change your settings in /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1.conf (if u use default rc.inet1 script to bring network up) or u could try to use 'netconfig' - its a text-mode GUI tool which does the same.
