svn with apache

I'm having trouble allowing network access to a subversion repository via apache. I compiled mod_dav as a static module, and mod_dav_svn is a DSO which has a loadmodule in the httpd.conf file.

I added this to the bottom of my httpd.conf file:
<Location /svn/repos>
DAV svn
SVNPath /repositories/aggiesat1
</Location>

Where aggiesat1 is my repository. I added a project to the repostiory called myTestProject.

When I try: svn co http://localhost/svn/repos/myTestProject
I get the following error message:
svn: REPORT request failed on '/svn/repos/!svn/vcc/default'
svn: REPORT of '/svn/repos/!svn/vcc/default': Could not read status line: connection was closed by server. (http://localhost)

My error_log says:
[Tue May 02 13:34:39 2006] [notice] child pid 12869 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)
[Tue May 02 13:34:39 2006] [notice] child pid 12870 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

And my acces_log says:
207 714

I thought there maybe permission problems with apache accessing svn, but I tried creating the repository as the same user as apache, but it did not help.

If anyone knows what I am doing wrong, help would be appreciated.
