SuSe 9.2 limiting FTP connections
 

I have glftpd 2.00 installed on SuSe 9.2 and I have logged on continuously to see how many connection I could have. Glftpd is set for 60 connections, but it seems to stop allowing me to login after 30 connections. I have changed the max in glftpd around to see if that would help but it didnt. My friend has the same setup but uses Fedora Core 3 and has no problem. Anyone know of a possible solution besides sweitching to another distro? Thank You.

The kind folks at Novell may have modified the package to limit connections in order to "encourage" you to buy their server edition. Download the source, compile it, and install it.
