Suse 8 inst. hangs detect. network card


Compaq Presario 1210 EA

While installing Suse 8... when it reaches the part on detecting network cards everything hangs...

How can I disable network detection???

Thanks...

Compaq presarios are if not the worse, one of the worse computers compatible with Linux...do you even know what your network card is??
The problem is that everything comes builtin, which is totaly a waste of your money and stupid idea.
