Post suse 10.2 can't connect


Hi all.I have us robotics 4 port adsl modem.It's connect whit ethernet to modem.I can see ethernet adaptor.I used this command
sudo ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.2 netmask 255.255.255.0 brodcast 192.168.1.255
but It's still does not work.I try the DNS Server and it does not work.Please HELP !!!!!

Try getting an IP address via dhcpcd or dhclient.
