And you may never become a "worker" if you don't stop messing around.
You and that other worker may find yourselves competing for the next job, or as co-defendants in a law suit.

Knock it off.

Honesty is doing the right thing when someone is looking.
Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is.

Well, while I would not give you high marks for discretion, from your description I think that you are probably OK.

"Reset by peer" simply means that the peer (i.e., the system you were logged in to, the "supercomputer") broke the connection for some reason.

Since you were logged in via ssh, and there was no activity on the ssh connection while you were cruising the porn sites, it simply timed out. Most ssh connections have a timeout that gets reset to zero when there is any traffic on the connection.

But you really should not be cruising the porn sites while you are obviously working - even if working from home. It is called "professionalism", "good judgement", "integrity" and a lot of other things...

Oh yea - you REALLY should not access another system using someone else's credentials without solid authorization - ever!

Thank you both for your reply. I do feel embarrassed by my actions, and have resolved never to do this again.
