Stress 16 Network Ports

Hi,

I new to Linux and would like to know any recommendation on software or utilities to Stress/Load all 4 of my network cards, total of 16 ports on 1 system at the same time.

I have look around and PassMark BurnInTest only supports 6 ports with latest version.

Thanks

First port of call for such a broad question should be your distributions repo's and software indexing web sites like Sourceforge, Savannah.nongnu, Berlioz, code.google and The-Site-Formerly-Known-As-Freshmeat because if you search those resources for terms like "network stress" they all should return a list of tools. Way more efficient. If you have questions about testing methodologies or frameworks, what to aspects to test, like for instance NIC TOE, network throughput, effect of sysctl optimizations, or specific tools then please ask specific questions and do explain what you intend to test and expected results in as much detail as possible.
