streaming from video lan server
Greetings,
i wonder if someone was able to setup a working VLS server that uses an input from a flyvideo tv capture card (it uses standard bt848/bt878 chipset), and it output the mpege'd stream by a multicast over the network. by using xawtv i am able to see and browse channels. it uses a device: /dev/v4l/video0 the configuration file is complicated by it somewhat confusing simplicity, and none of the things i tried and played with seemed to work. any help? has someone posed a simple howto or is there a vls.cfg configured allready with v4l setup? thnaks, starbase 947, delta quadrent. |
A few years passed and the question still not answered :(
Please, answer if somebody can help! I do not understand how can I stream video using vlc/vls :( |
