strange FTP issue

I am facing a strange FTP issue with files greater then 9GB. They get uploaded fine, but never complete. I have Gig link between source & target machine. This happens on both RH7.3 and RHEL3. Both are running the stock 2.4 kernels. The target machine is windows2003 server.

Any ideas? Let me know if any information is needed for better understanding.

What is filesystem of windows2003? If FAT32 then it can not create a file large than 4G

it is indeed NTFS. The filesize i mentioned was 9GB
