Start VNC at boot

I have VNCserver installed on my rh9 box and it's great because I don't need my kvm anymore. But right now when I boot both boxes I first have to open putty and get to the rh0 box to 'vncserver' to fire it up. Then I can get at the box using vnc server. Is there a way to get this to just start up auto when I boot the rh9 box?

Absolutely. Do an su -, and then do a chkconfig --list. That should list all the services installed on the system, Hopefully vncserver will make an appearance there. Chances are very good if it is there, it isn't set to auto-start on runlevel 3-6. If it isn't there, do an chkconfig --add 345 vncserver, which will auto-start vnc at boot. If it is there, just add the appropriate runlevel for whatever you boot into, chkconfig --help will point you in the right direction if you're confused.

Peace,

It doesn't appear in the chkconfig list.

When I try

chkconfig --add 345 vncserver

I get the usage description so it must be a syntax error.

When I attempt:

chkconfig --add vncserver

I get:

error reading information on service vncserver: no such file or directory exists.
But I know it does because just typing vncserver starts it up.

I also tried
chkconfig --level 345 vncserver on and I get the directory/file error again.

I even tried
chkconfig --level 345 /usr/bin/vncserver on and I get the directory/file error again.
