sshd not accepting password
I just upgraded from openssh2.9 to openssh3.4. After bulding from source and installing, I can run the sshd binary and I get this message:
This platform does not support both privilege separation and compression
Compression disabled
The daemon still starts though. I can connect and it asks for a password, but when I put in the right password it says:
Permission denied, please try again.
I don't know if there were drastic changes from 2.* to 3.* Any hints on this?
