sshd Nasty PTR record

sshd is generating a lot of

Nasty PTR record

and I am finding these in my log watch output.

Is this an issue from DHCP not properly generating reverse pointer records? We're using W2K DHCP on a Windows Domain Controller.

well what IS the PTR record?

many google hits you've hopefully already seen say this is often when the PTR IS the IP address: http://www.lubby.org/stable/index.ph...&ArticleID=113
