hey guys, my work have a proxy in place to stop me from using stuff like VNC & remote services to my machine at home. Now iv setup SSH to work on port 80, when I open an ssh session to my machine on my local network it logs in straight away. But if i am to log in externally it will just sit there & not even get to the login prompt.
Iv checked my router settings etc & port 80 is forwarding fine coz i can activate my apache server & it will be accessed straight away if the IP is punched in. FTP also works fine on 21.
Any ideas? Id love to get this working coz bored to sh|t here at work.
