SSH + Stats

Hey everyone

A friend and I have started up a webpage and are going to offer a bunch of free services for students. We hope to host a couple webpages for them and whatnot.

The question I have however has to do with SSH.
We hope to get a SSH dedicated computer going up sometime this week. Were going to let students who want to play around with linux and whatnot use it. I was wondering if anyone knew anyway to get some stats from SSH usage. Maybe showing how many people are connected, uploaded download info etc.
We want to port it to our webpage via html or php etc.
I'm in the dark on how to do this. Or if it's even possible.

Thanks
Basttrax

/var/log/secure contains information about sshd activity on your system.
