SSH/SFTP Connection Throttle

Is there any way I can throttle my sftp connections? I don't want every user to get full bandwidth.

I think this QoS is what your looking for, have a look at this. You probably want to look at Stochastic Fairness Queueing. It's down in section 9

Not to sound like a whiner or anything, but isn't there an easier way? some parameter I could add to the sshd_config file?

There's not really any other way that I'm aware of. ssh doesn't contain any throttling mechanisms on the server that i'm aware of. I can't even find anything on the client side for bandwidth contol. Using QoS is the only way i can think of to slow them down.
