ssh over authenticating proxy?
At uni we've got a proxy on all outgoing connections. And i want to ssh to my home pc from uni.
Now, i worked out how get ssh to go across port 8080 instead of 22, but the problem is its an authenicating proxy, ie you need to enter a username and password.
Now, putty has proxy authentication options, so that would work fine. Except the uni labs are linux, and so run openSsh , which as far as i can tell dosent support authenticating proxies.
So my question is has anyone dealt with authenticating proxies before and knows a way around this lack of functionality?
