ssh display after login

I searched the board, but was unable to find the answer to my specific question.

I was wondering where I can edit the message that is displayed once I login to my ssh server running Sarge. Right now it is just a message about debian. When I ssh into the servers at school there is always a title or text graphics that are displayed, so I was just wondering how I could display a message of my choice. I would appreciate any assistance.

you will find that text in /var/run/motd, there should be a symlink in /etc/motd too.
