ssh and X-forwarding

I've problem with ssh.
When I try play forexample MP3-file
(from host (SuSE 9.0)
in my client-machine (Win XP) with ssh,
(with xmms-command), it returns next error-
message:

"linux:/Shared # xmms Dido\ -\ 01\ -\ White\ flag.mp3
Gdk-ERROR **: X connection to localhost:10.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown)."

X11-forwarding is enabled in Linux-box.
All "text-based" things works fine.

And second problem:
I can use Samba from XP-box, but
not if there is Linux running in both
machines. First Samba worked fine,
but after updating SuSE 9.0 (in both machines),
"they" tells that they can't find local network..
I tried Samba with and without firewall...
no help.

Thank's everyone how can help!

you cannot run a linux application on a windows GUI system...unless you are running CYGWIN.
you can play music through the command line but i dont know if the sound will come thgouh to you...it should would be my guess.
samba is a software designed to network a linux box with a windows box...nto two linux boxes.to network two linux boxes...you can use NFS or something to that effect(i havent really networked two linux boxes so i dont know what you would use).
