Squirrelmail - receive mail from outside?

Does anyone know how to get squirrelmail to receive outside mail, lets say from a yahoo or hotmail account .. I've been searching around but all I could find was a plugin called mail_fetch but i requires a POP server to retrieve mail from...
Is there a better way??

This really doesn't have anything to do with sendmail. You should take a look at fetchmail, and if you want to access hotmail then look at hotwayd.

Yeah, squirrelmail is mainly to create your own web based email for your own domain, not to retrieve 3rd party email from other providers. Why not just setup a client to get your yahoo or msn mail like David_Ross mentioned? Or are you specifically wanting it to be web based but not to use theirs they provide?
