squirell mail login error on fedora 6


Squirell Mail is up and running on Fedora 6. When I attempt to login as a user I get these two errors:
1. 111 - Connection refused or
2. 13 - Permission Denied

any ideas on a workaround??????

Start with your log files.

Post any relevant entries, as the messages above are pretty vague
