Squid url port 81 access-denied error

All,

I have squid setup on port 3128. When a user goes to a site such as this example ????://<site>:81/tby.asp they get back the message that access is denied. Going to a site with :8080 works fine.

I created a url port and access-allow and put it about safeports denied. I also put 81 in safe_ports. That changed the behavior where it said in the browser that site can not be found.

Any suggestions as to what might be wrong with the setup for port 81 access on the internet??

thanks,

Steve
