Question squid through Novell Bordermanger?

Hello, I am new to this forum. I have a question I have done a lot of research on but have not found any answers. The school district I work for uses Novell Bordermanager for WAN proxy. We have four schools on our WAN that are on a 56k connection and I would like to set up a linux box in each building running squid to cache http requests. The problem is we have to run through Bordermanager for filtering and I can't figure out how to setup squid to use SSL and NDS in order to access the outside world. I am just about ready to give up on the idea but if anyone knows how to do this it would be great. Thanks, Chris
