squid reverse-proxy dual port combination

Hi Everyone,

I configured reverse-proxy on my squid and its running fine no problem at all and here's my confoguration.

http_port 80
httpd_accel_host 192.168.0.5
httpd_accel_port 80
httpd_accel_single_host on
httpd_accel_with_proxy on
httpd_accel_uses_host_header off

and we have plan to install another server also to be setup with squid-reverse proxy but on a diffrent port.

my question is this possible on squid to use two ports with this combined configuration?

http_port 80
httpd_accel_host 192.168.0.5
httpd_accel_port 80
httpd_accel_single_host on
httpd_accel_with_proxy on
httpd_accel_uses_host_header off

http_port 80
httpd_accel_host 192.168.0.8
httpd_accel_port 8080
httpd_accel_single_host on
httpd_accel_with_proxy on
httpd_accel_uses_host_header off

pls. help.

glenn

Same pinch...

Dear Friend, i'm also searching for the same things. But I have tried wt u have asked. My requirement is to have a two webserver behind squid. and squid have to refer both servers to serve requests. But nothing is happening. even I configured in that way it's not sensing the second one. also in http_accel one concept is there. Proxy will listen to the last server you have mentioned there. I saying with only practical. If u got the answer pls let me to know. Because i'm doing project in this. I'm only lagging over here... Thank you... Hari.
