squid parent proxy question

Hello,
I want to make a squid configuration that makes large files (1mb or more) to be forwarded to parent proxy (ex.10.20.1.2) and smaller files to be connected thought direct connection with squid.

Do you want the connection forwarded or the cache storage forwarded?

Often with http GETs there is no size info until the file is completely received..

What are you trying to achieve by doing this?

the size can be gained by file header

According to http://www.squid-cache.org/Doc/FAQ/FAQ-10.html
there isn't a detector type for size in the acl system..

So it may have to be done with a redirector..
