Angry Squid authentication from Windows NT4.0 Domain

Hi,

I am very new to the Linux and slowly caching up, I have installed Red Hat 3.0 as test environment and configured Squid for the Internet sharing with ADSL line. Borwsing works fine and now I need to know how to enable Windows NT 4.0 domain authentication enabling on squid. The requirement is to allow group of users only to use the internet..

Thanks
gr

You should compile squid with the SMB auth_module, and install Samba on your squid-machine. Obviously this means your cache should not be exposed directly to the Internet as exposing an SMB server is not considered a safe practice.
