Squid & M$ Outlook

We are Running with Fedora C3, also configured for Squid 2.5 as a Proxy Server. Now we want to allow users on M$ Windows 2000 Clients to use Microsot Outlook through proxy. I have allowed Safe Ports 110 & 25 in squid.conf

TIA

Squid is not a mail proxy. It's for proxying and caching of HTTP, FTP, and other URLs.

What do you want to proxy; pop3, imap and smtp or a combination of the three?

I wanted to configure the mail clients proxy settings to use squid to get to the internet. I cudn't find any where in M$ Outlook the option to configure proxy settings. just like for example if u want to chat with messengers u have to first configure the proxy settings to poin to theproxy server if u are using one on your network to surf the instead of direct connection to the internet.

Anyways thnx for ur reply i solved the problem with iptables MASQUERADE
