Talking Socks in Single Firewall Network

Is there any type of socks in the Single Firewall Network? Kind if like the Winsock Proxy on Windows NT. My clients all use Outlook 97 for the email client, and it doesn't have any settings for passive or firewall. I'm wanting to switch the NT Proxy for the Single Network Firewall, because we havn't purchased enough of the license for the stupid NT. Plus I can't completely get rid of the Nimda virus off of the NT Proxy because we would have to purchase a newer version of IIS; the list can go on and on. Thanks for any help you've got, and let me know if you need any more information.

Oh sorry, I just realised. This is a Linux Mandrake Single Firewall Network 7.2. Thanks again
