Post snmpwalk timeout issue


Hi,

When I run ./snmpwalk -v 1 -c public 10.14.1.167:12345 enterprises its giving timeout error.Please help me in
resolving this issue.

When I run ./snmpwalk -v 1 -c public 10.14.1.167:12345 enterprises its giving timeout error.
- is the version set correctly (could try without or need auth if v3)?
- is the community string correct?
- is the snmpd accessable (not firewalled)?


BTW: if you have access to the snmpd, please make sure the writable community setup is disabled if you have SNMP version 1 or 2 exposed to a network unless you know it needs to be that way.
