SNMP question

I have a network peripheral equipment (similar to a route) which have snmp functionality.

I like to do some testing of snmp but dont know how to start. Mainly to use linux to try to get some information from the network equipment(snmp agent).

Can someone help?

you can use the snmpwalk command.

e.g.
#snmpwalk -c public -v 1 <IP Address> system

hello,
I'm using MRTG to monitor 6 PC activities on RH9.
3 PC work well, but 3 doesn't work

when I try this command for the first one :

#snmpwalk -c public -v 1 10.192.168.41 system

I have a good result
but for the 3 else, I have this message :
Timeout: No Response from 10.192.168.41

all the pc have the same config the why they didn't all work.

Help please (excuse me for my english, I'm a french man).
