SMTP Auth for sendmail
 
i have setup a sendmail server and everything seems to work good, however id like to setup smtp auth so i can do realying for my users with out becoming a spam server:(

ok ummm.....ya that just WAY to confusing. couldn't make sence of that site. isn't there an easy way of just enabling SMTP auth???

Unfortunately authentication is not part of the SMTP protocol. There are some implementations with esmtp but it may not work with all clients.

I think i'm just gonna use the "FEATURE(`relay_local_from') ". it not the most sercure but i think it should do fine. i'll be monitoring traffic for any problems. thanks everyone!
