smbserver to XP not happening

Hi, I have Samba 2.8 running on a Slackware 9.0 box. I can reach the shares on the smbserver from the XP box, but cannot reach the shares on the XP box from the smbserver.

Using smbclient //host/ -Uusername I receive:
added interface ip=192..bla,bla
added interface ip=10..bla,bla
Password:
session setup failed: NT_STATUS_LOGON_TYPE_NOT_GRANTED

This problem is on the Windows side I blieve.

Any help would be appreciated.

You need an account on the XP box to log into, I had problems using a null password so use an account with a password
