Smb printing
 

Hello,

i have samba server running on my slackware & windows xp machine connected to it, file sharing work fine but i have problems wizh printing.

i use lprng and my /etc/printcap file loks like this:

lp:lp=/dev/lp0:sd=/var/spool/lpd:sh

i can map printer from my windows machine but when i want to print something nothing happens??

i did #lpc up to enable printing and queueing, command #lpc lpd shows - lpd server pid 126 on myslacxbox, is there a way to change pid number & how.


any idea?, thanxs
