slow internet access. too slow!!!

heres my new problem. i got my internet connection up, but for some reason its slow on my linux box. my winMe on a 200mhz pentium loads webpages faster, its fine. geez!!! can any one think of wht is causing the problem or maybe a solution?

What kind of hardware internet connection do you have? Whan software are you using to access the internet?

Be prepared. Create a LifeBoat CD.

Try Mozilla Firebird at and see if that's any faster..
