i'm in the big problem
i have a small network it connect to INTERNET by adsl router
i had changed the range of ip from 192.168.x.z to 10.1.x.z
with subnet mask 255.255.0.0
and i changed all configuration of the bind and all things
now there are some problems i don't understand it
first
when i ping the server by host name it resolve the ip quickly but it take a long time to give me the replay of ping
second
when i make ssh by ip
it take a long time to chick the password
third
i lost the connection to the INTERNET
i don't know why
i try to ping the external ip from the gateway server but it can't
the internal ip of the router is 10.0.0.138 subnet mask 255.0.0.0
the ip of the server is 10.1.1.1 the subnet is 255.255.0.0
and there sometrhing i don't understand to
when i make command route in the server
it gave me to the eth1 (internal network card) 10.1.0.0 and apipa 169.254.0.0
i can't understand this
their is something els my network have windows xp clients plus the linux clients

their's something else i want to tell you
i disable the firewall and i found that the dhcp was enabled and i disabled it too
