SLES, Samba, & ldap SRV woes

Greetings all!

Trying to tidy up a college project. I am having trouble adding a Windows 7 workstation to a samba / ldap domain. My question is where do the SRV records reside? Another thread on this forum says to add the following:

domainname 3600 IN A 192.168.3.1
domaincontroller 3600 IN A 192.168.3.1
_ldap._tcp.company.com. SRV 0 0 389 domaincontroller.company.com.
_ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.company.com. SRV 0 0 389 domaincontroller.company.com.
_kerberos._tcp.company.com. SRV 0 0 88 domaincontroller.company.com.
_kerberos._tcp.dc._msdcs.company.com. SRV 0 0 88 domaincontroller.company.com.

But where?

Any help would be great!

What distro are you using, what are you trying to do, from what you posted it looks like you want to use unix-based DNS instead M$ one.
