Slackware pppd auto redial

I have ppp0 dialout working OK.
The only thing I want to get going now is to have it automatically redial when the line is dropped.
Is there a way this is done? I couldn't see anything in the pppsetup script that mentioned it?

if you use a script add persist to it somewhere, can't remember which script and so on, but that is the command to use.

Hi,
man pppd mentions the persist option. I put it in my /etc/ppp/options file.
I will give it a try tonight to see if it works.
