Slackware 12 and Speedtouch 330


Hy
I`ve install slackware 12 and cannot make to run my speedtouch 330 usb modem.i have try to install driver but nothing,when i type make i got:

Hi, I had the same problem..
I did 3 modifications to solution the problem.

One is to comment the variable that show the error.
here is in line modem_run.c:94..
now see the variable verbose in modem.h:42? add a value 0 to it.
example

verbose = 0
Now, when u do that.. it will show another error.. similar the other error..
Just do the same thig, but now with another variable..

Now u can compile the program.. but i my modem woudnt connect.. i dont know why..

I dont find anything on internet that anyone connected speedtouch 330 at slack12..

Nha.. I don't know why..
when i run speedtouch-start the script exits when it runs mudem_run(modem_run.c).. i don't know why does it breaks..

i'm so pissed off..

plz.. post your feedback here too..

hy
i have try speedtouchconf.sh script(from here: http://steve-parker.org/speedtouchconf/ ) but dont work,something like this get: FIRMWARE_FILE undefined,later will post the complet error what get.

my modem is rev4.0 and it is black....somebody can help out?

But did u follow all the instructions?
I used this too but nothing up here..

I use rev.4 too, but here is purple(wine)

Someone can help us?

yes i think.
i have copy firmware in to speedtouchconf and than run the script.
now my os cannot finish boot,it stops when try to acces the modem.

hmm.. you need to boot with a live-cd and try to remove the autorun script..

i have disconect the modem from usb port and my pc it boot.

now i have buy a lan adsl modem (speedtouch 516v6) and it work very good
