Simple Switch question
 

Anybody know how to create a switch with vlan capability using a linux server? There are tons of tutorials online about how to create a router from linux, but nothing on how to create a switch. the reasoning behind this is that I want to create a 20 port switch (assuming I will have 20 NIC's..don't ask me how...) but I don't need routing capability, just vlan capability. How can I do this?

As for 20 ports you can use 4 or 8 port pci ethernet cards. Not sure which ones are Linux compatiable though.
