Simple DNS update question

Every couple of months, my internet service provider (RR) changes the ip addresses of it's DNS servers. I then have to edit my resolv.conf file with the new addresses. (I use RH9 as a router.) However, I have trouble figuring out what they are. What I do now is hook-up my WinXP box directly to the cable modem and it finds the numbers. How do I have the RH9 box find the new IP addresses of the DNS servers on it's own without rebooting?

I must have changed the default configuration a little because if I reboot the RH9 box it doesn't find the new numbers.

Thanx

Rob

using DCHP, if you issue ifdown eth0, then ifup eth0

the /etc/resolv.conf file should be updated automatically.
