siemens gigaset sx541 wlan dsl
Hi!
i'm an italian ubuntu user's.
i try to configure my gigaset sx541 for ubuntu 9.10 but i can't to open its settings page 192.168.2.1!
can you give me some helps please?
previously i was make use of "alice gate voip 2 plus wi fi" router whit "pppoeconf" but i want to connect in internet my others pc and whit this protocol is it impossible!

You can not connect to the embedded web configuration page on 192.168.2.1?

What is the output from the ifconfig command issued at a command prompt? If it doesn't work, try /sbin/ifconfig.

yes
is impossible go to my router settings page 192.168.2.1 because (i think) my connections settings are fit whit pppoe protocol.....i can connect only a pc at once!

connect your computer with straight ethernet cable to your gigaset sx541 LAN port and do
ping 192.168.2.1

route del -net 0.0.0.0 netmask 0.0.0.0 gw 0.0.0.0 dev ppp0
then do
route -n
