Sharing printer problem???Pls HLP ! URGENT
Dear Linux friends, I have configured a HP PSC 1300 series preinter on RHEL 4 and printer is working fine.Here are couple of settings I gave...
printer queue: Locally Connected
Sharing: All
Well...this is working fine...Now when I want to share this printer with other system which was runninng on Fedore Core 4, I cant be able to do it...I have given following settings on the Fedora machine..
Queue Type : Networked CUPS(IPP)
Server IP address 192.168.0.10(which is my RHEL 4 system IP-connected Locally to Printer)
Path: /printers/queue1(this is what I got when configuring printer on RHEL 4 machine..I gave the same path
I selected exact printer driver and when I tried to print ... some times its giving me a error message " Destination printer does not exist"even though printers On and Working...
and some times some other error msgs...pls help me the steps that I need to do right from the Beginning to configure a shared printer...Thank You.
