sharing linux and windows
Using Kubuntu and have Komba2 installed. I'm a newbie trying to set up network sharing for the first time. In Komba2 I can see my windows xp directory but when I right click it to mount I get this error message
smbmount exited with errors. smbmnt must be installed suid root for direct user mounts (1000,1000) smbmnt failed: 1 I'm logged in as root to run komba2 so that isn't the problem. I've only used Linux for 2 weeks so I really need help. TIA |
Hi, I used to have the same problem because I had my windows partitions on NFTS.. I changed to FAT and problem solved...
