Arrow sharing files overe the network

hi!!!,


I would like to know how to share files over the LAN..
so that it must be accecible to some users for whom i
would like to give my files and how to get a copy of the
files which r shared on windows ...


Any help will be greatly appreaciated ...

If u want to share files between linux and windows then samba is probably the best way - www.samba.org

Have a look at the book Using Samba - http://www.faqs.org/docs/samba/toc.html its one of the best samba HowTo I saw
