Shared Partition

I have my laptop set up to dual boot Windows and Linux. I would like to have a partition that I could store music and videos. I can get to the items in windows from the linux partition, cannot get to the data in the linux partition from windows. I am looking for suggestions for the most efficient way to do this.

If you formatted that partition as fat32, then you can move files back and forth between windows and linux. Both systems can read and write to a fat32 partition.

This doesn't appear to be a networking question.

Create a FAT32 partition then both windows and linux can easily read / write.

Thanks for the input. I will create a FAT32 and give that a try.
