sftp tracking


I have people connecting to my server using sftp but how do i track them?

When i use w function in ssh nothing happens
i can see them in nmap but thats not very detailed

Can you plese help

I have only got ssh no gui interface

Track them in what way? Are you root (I would assume so)? Do you want to find out where they are coming from, or what they are doing?

well waht i really want to do is see what they are doing are they uploading or downloading. Also to see who is loged on and what there ip is.
