Lightbulb SetUp Laptop as a router/wireless access point

Hello all.
I recently took an old HP Pavilion laptop with 256 mb of ram and put Arch Linux on it. I've got most everything working how I want it for the time being, but I'm looking to do something I don't have much experience with.

Is there a way to set up this old laptop as a router/wireless access point for use in my home?

I was looking at hostapd, but I don't think it supports my wireless card.

Quote:
lspci -k | grep -A 3 -i "network"

Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4318 [AirForce One 54g] 802.11g Wireless LAN Controller (rev 02)
Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company Broadcom 802.11b/g WLAN
Kernel driver in use: b43-pci-bridge
Kernel modules: ssb
I'm not sure what information will be needed to assist me, but I'm willing to provide that information. Let me know what you guys think about this project and if you can, push me in the right direction or provide alternative solutions. Thank you!

If you do a web search for "linux router," you will find many useful links.

Here's the article from the Arch wiki: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/router
