setup internet connection with USB modem

Hi guys!! I'm new in Linux and using this forum,sorry..I've got Fedora Core(think it's version 1 cos it comes from 2004..yep,not using original CD's)..My ADSL modem is a BT VOYAGER 105 with this technicals details : PPoATM NULL Encapsulation, VCI: 38,vPI : 0,MODULATION : G.DMT...
I'm using a Laptop dell inspiron 8600...
So,how can i setup my internet connection which is working fine in Windows?..I have tried with linux manuals but i couldn't find the right solution for me..
Any idea would be really appreciated..
Thanks..

Hi, I tried months to try and get the BT Voyager modem working. I never did. I ended up just buying a cheap ADSL router plugged in the phone line then cabled th router to the PC and away i was. After months of struggling 30 solved it all. I have never looked back. You can get the drivers for your modem of sourceforge but they are very confusing and i couldnt manage to get them to work, if you do get the drivers you wil need a newer version of Fedora.

Good Luck

Yea i remember BT Voyager was difficult to make it work a few years back. If this model has Ethernet u could just connect it with UTP. Mine didn't have ETH so i just bought a new modem from a second-hand hardware store for like 10 quid.
